How Does Clear + Brilliant Turn Back Time On Aging?

Clear + Brilliant works by using laser energy to stimulate the growth of newer, healthier skin cells. These lasers can reverse signs of aging and imperfections by gently stimulating collagen growth under the skin. After your treatment, your skin will start to heal by growing fresher, radiant, smoother, and younger skin.

Clear + Brilliant is a type of fractional laser resurfacing, meaning it only targets the small fractions of your skin that need treating. Your Clear + Brilliant device will have a tracking system that distributes the laser treatment evenly, making sure that there’s large parts of healthy tissue that are left untouched. Clear + Brilliant laser skin treatments only target the water in your skin’s cells while avoiding pigment—meaning Clear + Brilliant can be used with all kinds of complexions.

Although some people may experience some redness and swelling, any person who undergoes a Clear + Brilliant laser skin treatment can apply makeup and skincare products immediately after the procedure and resume their daily activities.

Types of Fraxel Lasers

Fraxel Re:Store Dual

Fraxel Re:Store Dual includes a new wavelength technology called Thulium to treat hyperpigmentation, brown spots, melisma, and actinic keratosis (pre-cancer). While it is often used on the face, it is especially effective on large areas of skin with dark spots, such as the chest, back, legs, and arms. Most patients require 3-5 treatments every 3-8 weeks.

The darkened areas will gradually lighten. Post-treatment redness usually lasts a few hours to a few days. The dark pigment will be even darker for the first week or two. After 3-4 days, the skin will peel and will feel like sandpaper for a week or more. Afterward, your skin will feel smooth, and your skin tone will be more even.

Fraxel Re:Pair

Fraxel Re:Pair, a carbon dioxide laser, is the best Fraxel device for the signs of aging and severe sun damage due to its ability to treat a deeper layer of the skin. As a result of this deep penetration, 3-5 days of downtime are usually required.

You will continue to see improvement in lines and wrinkles for 3-6 months after your treatments. Most patients receive at least two Fraxel Re:Pair treatments. Individual results will vary.

A topical numbing agent is used to decrease discomfort, and you can expect some oozing, itching, peeling, and crusting during the healing process.
