Earlobe Repair, Torn Earlobe Repair. This 28-year-old female patient came to Aristocrat Plastic Surgery with ear piercing holes that had been stretched out over the years from wearing big-gauged earrings. She was interested in repairing her enlarged pierced openings, and, after consulting with Dr. Tehrani, underwent a bilateral torn earlobe repair under his recommendation. The earlobe repair is a simple procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia. Ear surgery, or Otoplasty, is helpful for shell ears, loop ears, cupped ears, large or stretched earlobes, and lobes with noticeable irregularities. A few weeks after our patient’s procedure, her earlobes were completely healed and she was able to resume wearing earrings.
