Eyelid Surgery, Blepharoplasty, Upper Bilateral Blepharoplasty. This 62-year-old female patient came to Aristocrat Plastic Surgery in our Great Neck office to consult with Dr. Tehrani regarding facial rejuvenation. Our patient’s main concern was her upper eyelids. From her physical examination, Dr. Tehrani noticed upper and lower eyelid skin laxity with moderate preseptal fat herniation. His recommendation was for her to undergo a bilateral upper blepharoplasty under general anesthesia. During our patient’s procedure, Dr. Tehrani removed excess skin and fat that was causing the droopiness of her upper eyelids. Now, three months after her surgery, the patient is very happy with her results and feels that she looks much more “awake”, which has profoundly raised her confidence.
