Eyelid Surgery and Lower Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Lift). Our 50-year-old female patient was interested in having a facial rejuvenation procedure involving an eyelid lift. In her consultation with Dr. Tehrani, she expressed complaints about the overall tired look of her face as well as the tired look of her eyes. She wished to have a younger-looking, rejuvenated face. Her physical examination with Dr. Tehrani showed evidence of mild lower skin laxity. His recommendation was to perform a bilateral lower blepharoplasty in which extra loose skin and fat is removed from the lower eyelid, and is closed with a small incision on the lower lash line which makes the scar barely visible. The result of cosmetic eyelid surgery is a more youthful and well-rested appearance without a change in the shape or expression of the eyes. Following our patient’s post-op and recovery she is thrilled with her rejuvenated look.
