“I am very concern and need help. I went to a few consultations for Brazilian Butt Lift and a tummy tuck. My concern is I have a hernia above my belly button and the doctor won’t perform my TT until I have a specialist fix it, since I have had the same problem in the past. I did have 6/7 surgeries. Basically I have to wait 8 months. Now I want my BBL FIRST, will that affect me with my Tummy tuck since I have very lose skin. I don’t want it to look disfigured. Tank you for taking your time to answer I appreciate it.”, a RealSelf user asked.
“Thank you for this question. Actually what you are proposing is the proper sequence to perform these two procedures. You should have the BBL operation first as long as proper examination is performed and the area of hernia avoided. Subsequent to this you should undergo combination Abdominoplasty and hernia repair in one operation. Best of luck.”, advised Aristocrat’s certified surgeon Dr. Kevin Tehrani, M.D., F.A.C.S.
