Cellulaze
Cellulaze by Cynosure is a revolutionary cellulite treatment approved by the FDA to reduce cellulite on the thighs and buttocks. It is the only minimally invasive laser procedure designed to treat the very structure of cellulite beneath the skin, which makes it very different from other treatments that deal with the problem only superficially. Cellulaze delivers long-term results after only one short treatment. Individual results may vary.read more

Is Cellulaze Right For You?
Cellulite affects the hips, buttocks, and legs of most post-pubescent women, caused by a variety of factors such as aging, hormones, genetics, and dramatic weight changes. While most people believe that cellulite is a problem caused by excess fat, it is actually a structural problem beneath the skin. That is why diet and exercise don’t work.
Some of the benefits of Cellulaze include:
Smoother and tighter skin.
Minimal discomfort during the treatment.
Long-lasting results due to treating cellulite structurally rather than just superficially like other treatments.

Who Is A Candidate for Cellulaze?
Cellulaze is recommended for all sufferers of the dreaded “orange peel” skin, but the best results are seen on women who are not significantly overweight but with only mild to moderate cellulite on their thighs and/or buttocks. If you have areas that are lumpy or dimpling that do not respond to diet and exercise, you may be a good candidate for this treatment. Contact us for a consultation with Dr. Tehrani.
What Is The Cellulaze Treatment
After a local anesthetic is applied to the treatment areas, a few tiny incisions are made in those areas. The incisions are so small that they can be covered with a Band-Aid. A very small tube that contains the Cellulaze laser is inserted under the skin.
The Cellulaze laser is then used to
target and smooth out pockets of fat
break up fibrous bands that pull the skin down around the pockets of fat
stimulate the production of collagen in order to thicken the skin and increase its elasticity
On average, the procedure takes 1-2 hours, during which you will feel minimal discomfort.

Frequently
Asked Questions
What causes cellulite?
Fibrous bands beneath the skin create dimpling. Treatments target these bands or improve skin thickness.
Which procedure is best for me?
Dr. Tehrani will evaluate your skin quality, cellulite severity, and overall goals to recommend the most effective option.
How long do results last?
Depending on the treatment, improvements can last months to years; some may need periodic maintenance.
Is there downtime?
Minimally invasive options like Cellfina™ or Cellulaze may require a short recovery, while non-invasive treatments (Endermologie) have virtually no downtime.
Does it hurt?
Discomfort varies. Local anesthesia or gentle techniques can minimize pain.
