Meet Dr. Ariel Toomey
Dr. Ariel Toomey is known for her compassionate approach to patient care. Dr. Toomey grew up in San Diego, California. Her journey into medicine began with an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a B.S. in Biology. Following her passion for healthcare, she earned her medical degree from Touro University Nevada, where she developed a keen interest in surgery.
Dr. Toomey's dedication to surgical excellence led her to complete her General Surgery residency at McLaren Greater Lansing. There, she honed her skills in a variety of surgical procedures, laying a solid foundation for her future specialization. Her training included rotations working at Henry Ford Hospital, Spectrum Health, Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, The Cleveland Clinic, and Grant Hospital.
Her commitment to patient care and surgical precision was further refined during her Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at Corewell Health/Beaumont Hospital. This rigorous training equipped her with advanced techniques and a deep understanding of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
