Our 43 year-old patient underwent a breast augmentation procedure using 305cc Sientra silicone textured implants positioned over the breast muscle. Anatomical implants have textured shells which allows for the shell to adhere to the tissue within the pocket where the implant resides, and the adherence prevents the implant from turning. Breast augmentation with anatomical implants is a common choice after pregnancy and breastfeeding, when breasts often lose their original and youthful look and shape. From her surgical procedure, our patient went from B-Cup to a D-Cup.
