After having a Breast Augmentation and Mastopexy by another surgeon, this 5’7” 29 year old patient came to see Dr. Tehrani upon noticing firmness in her left breast. During the physical examination, the left breast was hard, painful to touch, appeared abnormal and sat higher on the chest wall than her right. She had a grade 4 capsular contracture. MRI results showed intracapsular rupture to left breast as well. Dr. Tehrani’s plan was a left-sided breast capsulotomy with an implant exchange. The asymmetry of her breasts was corrected during the procedure and she is very happy with her results. She is three months post op.
