Neck Liposuction - Patient 33266 BEFORE & AFTER
Procedure Description
Neck Liposuction and Chin Augmentation. Our 55-year-old patient underwent laser-assisted liposuction of the neck and chin implant. Our patient had localized pockets of fat in her neck, along with a small and weak looking chin. Liposuction is an outpatient procedure that can be performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with IV sedation, depending upon the technique used and the extent of the procedure. The neck liposuction procedure slimmed down the circumference of her neck, while also tightening the skin of the neck which gave her a more youthful appearance. Chin surgery, also known as mentoplasty or genioplasty (chin implants), is a surgical procedure to reshape the chin either by enhancement with an implant or reduction surgery on the bone. Our patient received a silicone chin implant to give her chin more definition and shape, as well as to add more roundness to her face and to balance her profile.
