Eyelid Surgery - Patient 21630 BEFORE & AFTER
Procedure Description
Lower Blepharoplasty, Eyelid Surgery, Blepharoplasty. This 40-year-old female patient came to Aristocrat looking for help to correct the puffiness and dark circles under her eyes. After consulting with Dr. Tehrani, she underwent a lower blepharoplasty procedure (lower eyelid surgery) under local anesthesia to resolve her issues. With lower eyelid surgery, the procedure can be accomplished with no external scar. Fat is removed using an incision within the internal portion of the lower eyelid to correct the bagginess. The main advantage of making the lower eyelid incision on the inside of the lid is the avoidance of trauma to the muscle that supports the lower lid. This helps preserve the natural shape of the eye post-surgery and preventing “surgical stare”. Our patient has the refreshed look to her eyes that she was hoping for.
