This 54-year-old female patient had redundant lid tissue which was complicating and compromising her vision. From her consultation with Dr. Tehrani, she underwent an upper blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery) for functional and cosmetic reasons. Her procedure was performed under general anesthesia, and post-recovery, has corrected her vision problems and given her face a more refreshed and youthful appearance. Our patient is very happy with her results.

He earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and became Chief Resident in General Surgery during his residency at New York’s Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Tehrani holds the academic position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and proudly served as a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserves Medical Corps.
