Facelift, Facial Rejuvenation, Eyelid Surgery, Blepharoplasty, Lower Blepharoplasty. This 51-year-old female patient came to Aristocrat interested in having a facial rejuvenation. She was unhappy with the sagging skin, lines, and wrinkles around her mouth and jawline. She has had Botox treatments in the past but was looking for something more drastic. Following her consultation with Dr. Tehrani, he recommended for her to undergo a limited incision facelift in addition to a lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). A facelift (rhytidectomy) is a procedure designed to improve the most visible signs of aging. Cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is a procedure that corrects drooping upper eyelids and puffy bags under the eyes by removing excess fat, skin, and muscle from the area. The result of cosmetic eyelid surgery is a more youthful and well-rested appearance without a change in the shape or expressison of the eyes. Following her recovery, her facial appearance looked more youthful and rested, and the lines and wrinkles were smoothed out.
