Nose Surgery - Patient 36917 BEFORE & AFTER
Procedure Description
Nose Surgery, Rhinoplasty. This 31-year-old female patient came to Aristocrat because she was unhappy with the shape of her nose, specifically her nasal hump. Dr. Tehrani recommended having a closed rhinoplasty under general anesthesia, with nasal rasp, cephalic trim, and septal resection. A closed rhinoplasty is a technique in which all the incisions are placed inside the nose. Dr. Tehrani uses the closed process whenever it’s possible because it leaves no visible scars. The procedure is a common technique used in both primary and revision nasal surgeries. Nasal rasping files down excess bone or smoothes out rough edges. This procedure is typically performed during a nasal hump reduction. A cephalic trim removes part of the upper edge of the lower alar cartilages. Septal resection is used to treat a deviated septum. The patient’s procedures resulted in a smoother nose line and a keener profile. Dr. Tehrani has the ability to “customize” your procedure based upon your specific needs and anatomy, with the emphais on the most satisfying results.
