This 32-year-old female patient came to Aristocrat in New York to consult with Dr. Tehrani about the excess fat and skin left around her abdominal area after giving birth to her child. With Dr. Tehrani’s recommendation, she underwent surgical procedures that included a lateral tension abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) the cosmetic surgery procedure used to make the abdomen thinner and more firm, but as Dr. Tehrani was starting to perform her procedures, he found that the patient had an umbilical hernia, which he removed. In addition, she had liposuction to her medial thighs and bilateral flanks (love handles), finishing off with a fat transfer to her lateral thighs to help her get rid of her “hip dips”, which are slight inward curves just below each hip bone.
