Lateral Tension Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) and Breast Augmentation. This 36-year old patient had three pregnancies, which were all C-section births. Unhappy with the appearance of her abdominal area post partum, she spoke with her husband regarding her appearance and came to the conclusion to undergo surgery. After consulting with Dr. Tehrani, she underwent lateral tension abdominoplasty to smooth out the appearance of wrinkled and puckered skin above her navel and a liposuction of the flanks (also known as love handles) to remove excess fat. A breast augmentation enhanced the size and shape of her breasts and improved her body image. He earned his medical degree at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and became Chief Resident in General Surgery during his residency at New York’s Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Tehrani holds the academic position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and proudly served as a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserves Medical Corps.
