“I’m having my mommy makeover in 8/8/13, breast augmentation, tummy tuck with hernia repair. Will have saline implants. My plastic surgery advised me that he was intending to do my breast augmentation via TUBA since I’m having a full tummy tuck… Is this a good idea? Sounds good, but I’m not a plastic surgery? Thank you.”, a RealSelf user asked.
“What you’re referring to is the procedure described as trans abdominal breast augmentation TABA. It’s a procedure where either saline or silicone implants are placed over or under the muscle through the abdominoplasty incision. I think it’s a perfect procedure performed together to avoid any incisions on the breast. I do this procedure routinely and if your surgeon has recommended these procedures together, I strongly recommend this approach. Please do discuss the use of silicone implants instead of saline as an option with your surgeon. Best of luck.”, Aristocrat’s certified surgeon Dr. Kevin Tehrani, M.D., F.A.C.S explained.
