“I am 45 in good health and plan on having a tummy tuck, butt lift and breast augmentation all in same surgery. Is this a good idea”, a RealSelf user asked.
“I am a proponent of multiple surgeries as the decreased recovery, anesthesia risk and costs are good reasons. Synergistic surgeries such as breast augmentation, abdominoplasty are very good combinations are done frequently. Brazilian butt lift at the same time as abdominoplasty however, is not a good idea as I believe intraoperative positioning as well as postoperative positioning is a major problem. In addition to pain issues, I believe the results of either surgery is optimized by doing them together. Therefore I do not recommend abdominoplasty and Brazilian butt lift In one operative session to my patients. Typically, liposuction and BBL is done a few months before abdominoplasty. Again, I do not believe this is a safety issue more than it is optimizing the results of your procedure.”, Aristocrat’s certified surgeon Dr. Kevin Tehrani, M.D., F.A.C.S explained.
